I think that il-Knisja tal Vitorija is the most beautiful church on earth. I served as an alterboy, in the early 1950's, at the church and I cannot begin to tell you the many blessing I received. Then the church was mostly dark because of the kerosene lamps and candles that lite the church. Now with all the beautiful lights in the church I can see all the beauty and its glory. May God preserve and protect the church at the top of Triq il-Vitorja. I lived on that street until 1957 next to Stella/Joseph Aquilina. I now live in California. I am praying that God will bring me back to Hal Qormi and that beautiful church before I die.
